STONESAVER Concrete Water Repellent offers industrial strength protection against waterdamage from freeze-thaw cycles, mold and mildew build up* and acid rain. STONESAVER Concrete Water Repellent is not a coating but a chemically reactive sealer which will not alter the concrete's original color and penetrates deeply to work from within. This means no coating to wear off and no change in surface appearance. STONESAVER Concrete Water Repellent offers up to 10 years of water permeation protection on vertical concrete surfaces. STONESAVER Concrete Water Repellent is water based, colorless and odorless, which makes application and clean up extremely easy (rinse with soap and water).

DIRECTIONS: For new installations, wait a minimum of 30 days for concrete to cure and settle before water repelling. [Step 1] This product is not an elastomeric coating - thus will not span cracks or gaps in concrete and mortar. Replace any broken brick or block and re-point all cracked or separated mortar joints at least 30 days prior to proceeding to step 2. [Step 2] If concrete appears fairly clean, then wash concrete from the top down with a power washer and clean water only. Allow to dry prior to proceeding to step 3. If concrete appears dirty or discolored, do not attempt to clean and water repel without contacting Surface Renewers for proper instructions / consultation on chemical cleaning and neutralizing or blasting techniques. [Step 3] Important- Before commencing, cover and protect all exposed glass and non-painted metal from coming in contact with the water repellent. STONESAVER Concrete Water Repellent may be applied by a using a brush or preferably a low pressure - constant volume (plastic sprayer). Avoid over spray onto vegetation, etc. Apply at temperatures above 7 degrees C. (45 degrees F) and not in direct hot sunlight. On warm days, lightly dampen surface prior to product application. Apply only 1 heavy coat of STONESAVER Concrete Water Repellent to fully saturate the surface. Start at the top or high side of the surface and work side to side. Allow product to flow down the wall while fully saturating into the pores of the concrete. Cover product runs with a minimum of a 2 inch overlap to ensure that no areas have been missed during application. Note: Always perform a pre-application test on a small % of the area to be treated. This will confirm product compatibility with the substrate. Resealing: Reapply when water repellent levels drop to an undesired level.

COVERAGE: 18.9 Litres covers approximately 45 sq. m. (500 sq. ft.) Apply only 1 saturating coat. Coverage can vary dramatically with the type and porosity of the surface.
